Youth Worker/Residential Carer - (Permanent Part-time 29 hours per week plus rostered sleepovers)
To join a creative, dynamic, caring team of 5 multidisciplinary professionals working with a small group of adolescent boys and their families towards family restoration.
Essential Criteria
- Ability to manage a residential unit with another worker
- Ability to engage positively with young people
- Administration skills
- Availability for shiftwork and sleepovers during the week
- Current drivers licence
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Commitment to the philosophy of Boys' Town
Desirable Criteria
- Qualifications and/or experience in welfare/youth work
- Recreational, creative and/or sporting skills.

Youth Activities Officer / Life Skills Social Educators - (Permanent)
Applications are sought from suitably qualified people for a permanent position as a Youth Activities Officer / Life Skills Social Educator. This position requires creative and innovative people who meet the following selection criteria.
Selection Criteria:
- Formal qualifications in youth work, sport and recreation or other certified training in outdoor pursuits
- To program and deliver life skills and social education experiences
- To organise and conduct camps
- To facilitate a range of outdoor activities such as abseiling, canoeing, sailing
- To tutor and assist in resume writing and careers awareness
- To deal effectively with challenging behaviour
- Current first aid certificate or willingness to obtain
- Current drivers licence
- To work within the philosophy of Boys' Town
- Sound organisational skills and broad range of ideas
